Angi Tague - Worship Leader

Angi Tague – Worship Leader

Angi is a native of southern Ohio.  She was raised in Germantown OH and lived there until she was 20 yrs old.  Angi began singing at the age of 2 when her mother sat her on top of an upright piano in church to sing her first solo. She comes from a musical family who traveled and sang gospel music throughout southern Ohio while she was a kid.

Her passion for praise & worship began at an early age when she would listen to records of early praise & worship artists for hours.  “I didn’t know what it was all about, but I knew it helped me through one of the darkest hours of my young life…My parents divorce. I realized I could worship my way through anything.” From then on the pursuit of the truth and power behind praise & worship  became her mission.

Angi met Kerry the summer of 1991 through a mutual friend.  Their first date was a Reds game in July of 1991, they were married one year later. She is the mother of two wonderful boys who are both talented and anointed musicians.

In the fall of 2003 Angi was diagnosed with cervical cancer.  She underwent 2 months of chemo & radiation.  During this time she saw God’s healing power take place in her life.  The tumor which was the size of a baseball had shrunk to the size of a dime.  In just four months time there was nothing left of the tumor but a small piece. The Dr’s performed a hysterectomy as a precautionary measure.  Angi boldly proclaims that God’s healing power is still flowing and that God performed a miracle in her life.

Along with being a singer, songwriter and musician. Angi is also a gifted teacher of God’s Word. She is passionate about empowering women to fulfill God’s plan for their lives.

She is the music director at Life House Church in Beavercreek, OH where her husband Kerry is the pastor.  In her spare time she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.  She is a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loves  cheering on the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes.
